Following its success in 2025, Extraordinary Portraits with Bill Bailey returns to Bradford this May. All six original artworks from the hit BBC One series will be on display at this free exhibition.

Extraordinary Portraits with Bill Bailey invites artists to create breathtaking portraits of people with incredible personal stories, creating a powerful picture of modern Britain. We are delighted to present an exhibition of portraits from series five of the BBC One show, available now on BBC iPlayer – and admission is free. Find out more about the programme on the BBC website.

Presented in partnership with the BBC and Chatterbox Media, Extraordinary Portraits with Bill Bailey will be the first event of 2026 at Loading Bay, the organisation’s cultural hub in the heart of the city.
