Yorkshire Day

Celebrate Yorkshire Day on 1st August as Bradford and Ilkley host the official civic celebration for 2025. With parades, heritage activities, and family-friendly events, the district will come alive in honour of Yorkshire's rich culture and community spirit.

Highlights include Ilkley’s civic procession, the White Rose flag flying proudly above City Hall, and the bells of Bradford City Hall ringing out the iconic tune of “On Ilkla Moor Baht ’at,” adding a stirring soundtrack to the day.

As a UNESCO City of Film, home to the Saltaire World Heritage Site, and the literary village of Haworth, Bradford offers the perfect backdrop for a day full of Yorkshire pride.
