Nature Season

Celebrate the great outdoors with Nature Season, a West Yorkshire-wide programme of nature-inspired culture. From spectacular outdoor artworks to guided walks and hands-on experiences, it’s a chance to explore Bradford’s parks, green spaces and natural landscapes in new and creative ways. 

Highlights include Morphosis by Cie Moso in Wibsey Park, where visitors can help build, climb and explore a giant bamboo structure, and Harmonic Fields by Pierre Sauvageot on Baildon Moor, a unique symphonic experience featuring hundreds of wind and nature-powered instruments set against the dramatic West Yorkshire landscape. Flower Carpet, a stunning living artwork made from more than 300,000 dahlia flowerheads in Centenary Square, is another standout attraction. Nature Season also includes a special screening of Super Nature at Cubby Broccoli Cinema at the National Science and Media Museum, alongside Bradford on Foot: Bradford Pennine Gateway Trail, inviting walkers to discover the district’s remarkable landscapes.

From events at The Beacon and Loading Bay to public artworks including Tower of Now and the expanding BD:Walls street art programme, there’s always something new to discover.
