About
BD: Walls is a bold exhibition where the gallery is the Bradford District itself. Street artists from near and far are transforming walls across the city into vibrant reflections of Bradford’s heritage, identity and contemporary street art culture.
Launched in July 2024 with The Portal by Polish artist NeSpoon — a lace-pattern mural at Church Bank House near Bradford Cathedral — new pieces continue to pop up across the district throughout 2025.
Featured works and locations:
-
The Portal by NeSpoon — Bradford city centre, Church Bank House
-
Roots by Peachzz — MAPA Cultural Arts Centre, 1 Coates St, Bradford BD5 7DL
-
Come on in my friend by Jemima Spence — Buttershaw, Bradford
-
RAVO by Alastair Findall — Ravenscliffe, Bradford
-
Growing Together by Sven Shaw — Girlington Community Garden, Bradford
BD: Walls is also nurturing the next generation of talent through its Talent Development Programme, pairing emerging local artists with industry leaders for training, collaboration and the chance to create large-scale public works.
Watch this space — and that one — as BD: Walls continues to grow, bringing creativity to unexpected corners and building connections through public art.
