You will find four Walkers Are Welcome locations throughout the district: Baildon, Bingley, Burley in Wharfedale, and Ilkley, proving just how walker-friendly Bradford is. A selection of self-guided walks, created by Bradford Countryside Rights of Way, primarily away from the hustle and bustle, showcases the diverse countryside that the Bradford District has to offer, with new routes added regularly.

Walk in the footsteps of the famous Brontë sisters from Haworth, West Yorkshire, to Top Withens, Haworth Moor – the inspiration for Wuthering Heights. There are lots of walks for all abilities, including long-distance walks The Dales Way and The Dales High Way and the Bradford Millenium Way, a 46-mile circular walk around the Bradford district.
