Saltaire Arts Trail is back for 2024, running over the May Day Bank Holiday weekend from Saturday 4 – Monday 6 May, bringing the UK’s finest artists, makers and designers to the unique spaces of Saltaire and Shipley. The annual event - which has run since 2006 - is inspired by the cultural heritage, artists and creativity in and beyond Saltaire, and attracts thousands of visitors to the World Heritage Village.

The 3-day programme will include: the Open Village, showing high-quality contemporary artwork by artists selected from across the UK in homes, businesses and creative spaces across Saltaire and Shipley; Saltaire Makers Fair in Victoria Hall (5 & 6 May), a two-day showcase hosting over 65 exhibitors across three rooms, sharing their fresh, contemporary art, craft and design, carefully chosen for its quality and originality; plus a new event for 2024, MAKE IT Bradford, a one-day creative market focusing on the homegrown talent here in the Bradford district, on Sat 4 May. A programme of exhibitions will also run over the weekend, as well as chances for people of all ages to get creative and learn new skills in a range of activities and artist-led workshops.

Information on the full programme will be published during March at saltaireinspired.org.uk and trail guides will be available to buy for £3 at various outlets in Saltaire and online from early April.
