Otley Walking Festival

About

This is a joint Otley Walking Festival and Baildon Walkers are Welcome linear, moderate, guided walk of 7.5 miles. No booking required.

You can join others coming on this walk – if you are coming from Otley – at 9.30 at the Otley Bus Station, Crossgates. Otley, LS21 3NX to catch the 9.34 but to Menston railway station. The train from Menston to Baildon departs at 10.04. Meet your walks leaders Simon Rebecchi, Karen Walters and Andy Holt at Baildon railway station at 10.15am

The route will pass through the Gill Beck Valley, before picking up the varied route of The Welcome Way from Baildon to Otley, through Esholt Woods, Guiseley and footpaths to Otley Chevin. The walk will terminate by descending to the centre of Otley. Picnic lunch required.

Walkers are advised to dress appropriately for the conditions, choose a walk suited to their ability, carry any personal medication or essentials, include basic emergency details in their rucksack, and note that only assistance dogs are permitted.
