Ilkley Manor House welcomes Scottish singer-songwriter and acclaimed acoustic fingerstyle guitarist Simon Kempston for his first concert in Ilkley.

Expect beautifully crafted contemporary songs, intricate guitar work, compelling tenor vocals, and poetic storytelling — plus a few humorous tales from the road. This is an intimate evening not to be missed.

​​​​​​Simon Kempston’s songs pair poetic, thought-provoking lyrics with sharp social and political commentary, shaped by his love of travel, architecture and literature. Known for intense, heartfelt live shows, he’s toured internationally for over a decade. His latest album, My Dreams Are Theirs (2024), is his most honest and direct collection yet.
