November Is Music Month

About

Taking place across November 2023, Bradford Music Month has been created to nurture, develop and celebrate the city’s rich and diverse music scenes. Consisting of four core events and a programme of over twenty workshops and pop-up events, Bradford Music Month and team behind it hope to inspire, entertain & engage a range of communities across the district with music.

The programme includes:

Bhangra & Bassline - November 18th at Mill TV

From the frustrations of South Asian teens looking for a safe space to party, the era of the  ‘Daytimers’ was born - covert events that took place during the day, including schooldays, so that teens could go and party with their peers without their families finding out. Our ‘Bassline & Bhangra’ daytime rave, with Deejay AJ, Jae Depz, Spice Nights & more - a sober event suitable for all the family, to allow you experience this extraordinary era yourself.

Garden Of Eden - DYT Thearte 10th and 11th of November

Displace Yourself Theatre will be transformed into a tranquil, multipurpose venue, hosting 2 packed days of events to appeal to music lovers of all kinds. Our holistic garden will hold space for a full day of music-led workshops, including wellbeing elements such as a sound bath & soul singing workshop.

By evening, this will be transformed into a one-of-a-kind intimate gig venue, where you can experience a completely unique gig, with artists such as Melissa Steel headlining our Soul / RnB event, and Sunflower Thieves on our Folk / Indie night. This is a one of a kind opportunity to see artists stripped back and up close.
