Bradford Concert Band performing with woodwind, brass and percussion players.

About

As part of the 2026 Music at the Museum season, this performance features Bradford Concert Band, an established community ensemble formed in 1975 and now celebrating more than fifty years of music‑making in West Yorkshire.

The band brings together players of all ages and backgrounds, performing on a full range of woodwind, brass and percussion instruments — from flutes, clarinets and saxophones to trumpets, French horns, euphoniums, tubas, timpani and more. As an amateur community band, Bradford Concert Band welcomes musicians from all walks of life, creating a friendly and inclusive environment where players can develop their skills and enjoy performing together.

Their repertoire is broad and varied, spanning musical theatre favourites, film and television themes, light popular arrangements, marches, overtures, original arrangements and occasional novelty pieces. Cliffe Castle Museum looks forward to welcoming them for an afternoon of lively, wide‑ranging music.
