About

Ilkley Philharmonic Orchestra and the Academy of Northern Ballet are delighted to perform their first Gala Matinee tailored for a younger audience and the 'young at heart.'

This concert has been requested by many of our audience members to enable children and adults who cannot attend the main Gala Concert to experience the magical world of ballet within Ilkley.

The performance will comprise ballet scenes and orchestral works from the main evening Gala Concert, including excerpts from Tchaikovsky's Sleeping Beauty and Rimsky-Korsakov's Dance of the Tumblers.

This concert will be suitable for children and adults alike and will be an afternoon to remember. Under 16s must be accompanied by an adult.
