About

Celebrate the New Year in style with our Gala concert featuring young dancers from The Academy of Northern Ballet & Soprano Katie Bird

Ilkley Philharmonic Orchestra is delighted to once again join forces with the Academy of Northern Ballet, to perform excerpts from Tchaikovsky's Sleeping Beauty and Rimsky-Korsakov's Dance of the Tumblers. We are also privileged to welcome Katie Bird - soprano from Opera North, who recently starred as Maria in Opera North's outstanding production of The Sound of Music. This spectacular annual gala concert features traditional Viennese music by the Strauss family and others. A concert not to be missed.

This concert will be suitable for children and adults alike and will be a night to remember.
