Bradford Bus Stories

About

Step aboard the Bradford Stories Bus for a weekend of pop-up literacy events, run by the National Literacy Trust and their brilliant community Literacy Champions, on 11 and 12 July.

As part of the National Year of Reading 2026, this colourful converted American school bus invites children and families to enjoy storytelling, reading, and imagining in a welcoming space filled with books and cosy seating.

At a time when children’s enjoyment of reading is at its lowest recorded level in 20 years, inspiring a love of books matters more than ever.
