A group of walkers at a moorland trig point

About

Meet walks leaders Pauline and John Mapplebeck outside Brackenhall Countryside Centre. Our route goes across the Glen, to head over fields to Dick Hudson’s for elevenses and toilets. We then follow the Millenium Way to the 12 Apostles stones for lunch break (bring any snacks and a picnic lunch and plenty to drink). We then pick up the path to Horncliffe Well and across to Weecher Reservoir, before following the last part of the Millennium Way Walk 16 to bring us back to the Centre.
This is a medium / hard walk because of the length: 11 miles. However, it is all on good paths with no steep ascent. There are some stiles to be crossed. The Old Glen pub and the tea room are available for refreshments. Expected time of return: 15.30.

Please come suitably dressed for the weather conditions on the day of the walk. We cannot accept dogs other than assistance dogs on our walks.
