A picture of Kate Bush in a red dress, with lots of small figures in red dresses, dancing on a hill behind her

About

Join us in Haworth, home of the Brontës, for a spectacular celebration on the Brontë moors - a joyful, windswept, red-dress sea of Cathys dancing for charity. Open to everyone - all ages, all genders, all glorious red dresses welcome.

Become Cathy/Kate for the day - learn the iconic choreography supported by our brilliant dance leaders on the day and take part in the mass ‘Wuther’! Enjoy live musical and poetic tributes to the song, its singer, the setting and the novel that inspired it. Hear a unique original poem composed by Kate Bush for Emily Brontë's birthday. Bring a picnic and join us afterwards at Parson's Field, next to the Brontë Parsonage Museum, where Emily wrote Wuthering Heights.

Funds raised will support Women’s Aid and other charities to protect this iconic landscape, and inspire generations of Cathys, Kates and Emilys.

This unforgettable day is organised by Friends of Brontë Country, working to preserve the extraordinary literary landscape between Haworth and Hebden Bridge.

Friends of Brontë Country is delighted to partner with Happy Valley Pride, with support from the Brontë Parsonage Museum, Haworth Festival, Curious Motion Dance Company, Haworth with Stanbury Village Council, and Haworth and Oxenhope District Bridleways Group.

Tickets go live at midday on Sunday 22 March. They are limited in number and will sell fast - details to follow.
