About

Starting with a steep climb through the back streets of Keighley, including the urban areas of Long Lee and Thwaites Brow. The walk soon reaches its highest point as you enter the St Ives Estate high above the Aire Valley. Then it is quite level or downhill as you make your way through the woodland of the estate before starting your return over Harden Moor, to eventually cross fields before starting your steep descent back to Keighley via Park Wood.

You will require strong footwear and outdoor clothing to suit the season.

Packed lunch with drinks is also recommended.

This walk is not suitable for pushchairs, wheelchairs and people with limited mobility.
