This Christmas, National Trust's East Riddlesden Hall near Keighley will be transformed into a magical fairytale setting for Cinderella: An Immersive Pantomime Experience.

Set within the atmospheric grounds of the historic 17th-century manor house, audiences will step inside the story, meeting memorable characters, uncovering hidden corners of the site and becoming part of the adventure before the clock strikes midnight.

Created by the award-nominated team at Electric Press Productions, the immersive show combines live music, larger-than-life characters and festive magic in a unique reimagining of the classic tale. Following the success of their previous production with the Keighley & Worth Valley Railway, A Christmas Carol, the company returns with a fresh take on Cinderella, celebrating self-expression, independence and choosing your own path.

Set in the world of the classic fairytale, Cinderella follows a young woman dreaming of escape from life with her stepfamily and a chance to share her voice with the world. When the kind-hearted Prince Max hears her sing at the village Yuletide Fayre, he is captivated and announces a grand ball at the Royal Palace to find her.

Audiences will see that when midnight strikes, Cinderella refuses the traditional ending. Instead, she challenges expectations and invites Max to choose music, freedom and adventure over glass slippers and royal duty, reimagining the fairytale as a bold celebration of self-expression, independence and defining happiness on your own terms.

Bringing the story to life in a truly unique way, the immersive experience makes full use of East Riddlesden Hall's historic setting, with audiences gathering first in the site's remarkable Great Barn before stepping deeper into the fairytale.

The Great Barn at East Riddlesden Hall is one of the finest surviving examples of its kind in the North of England. Built in the 1640s, it offers visitors a glimpse into almost 400 years of history and provides a unique backdrop for this immersive festive experience.

Hester Pode, Welcome Manager at the National Trust, comments, We're delighted to be hosting the premiere of this colourful new pantomime and can't wait to welcome visitors into the heart of the fairytale. The production will begin in the magnificent Great Barn, marking the first time this Grade I listed building has been used in this way. That's particularly special given its remarkable history stretching back almost 400 years. It's a wonderful opportunity to experience this much-loved historic space in a completely new light.

Director Emily Susanne Lloyd comments, When we started talking about what could follow A Christmas Carol, we knew we wanted to create a pantomime, but we wanted to do it in a way that felt unique to Electric Press. Rather than asking audiences to come into a theatre, we're inviting them to step inside the story itself. East Riddlesden Hall felt like the perfect setting. Audiences will journey through the site, discovering characters, music and magic around every corner. At the heart of our Cinderella is a story about finding your own voice and choosing your own path. We hope families leave having shared a truly magical experience together and created memories that last long after Christmas has passed.

Tickets for Cinderella: An Immersive Pantomime Experience are expected to be in high demand. Don't miss your chance to step inside this magical festive adventure at East Riddlesden Hall. Book your tickets now and make unforgettable Christmas memories with family and friends.
