This summer, from 25th July to 31st August, East Riddlesden Hall in Keighley invites families to join the National Trust’s Summer of Play, offering endless fun for everyone.
To kick-start their summer programme, the National Trust property is having their annual free day on Wednesday 22nd July.
Welcome Manager, Hester Pode, said, “Summer is a wonderful time to visit East Riddlesden Hall. Families can enjoy our summer trail, discovering play stations hidden throughout the hall and gardens, while making the most of our adventure play areas, scenic walks and peaceful picnic spots. Whether you're looking for outdoor adventures or a relaxing day out, there's something for everyone to enjoy this summer.”
Hester continues “We're kicking off the season in style with our annual free entry day on Wednesday 22nd July. Visitors can enjoy inflatable courses from Play in the Park, dance lessons with Bingley Dance Studio, outdoor activities with Get Out More and archery with the Scouts. With plenty of family-friendly entertainment and delicious wood-fired pizzas available on the lower fields, it promises to be a fantastic day out for all ages.”
The hall, gardens, tearoom, and shop will be open from 10 am to 4 pm, Saturday to Wednesday, with the last entry at 3:30 pm. The lower fields are open at no charge, and the car park closes at 4:30 pm daily.
Every visit to East Riddlesden Hall supports the preservation of this special place, from caring for our collections and nurturing the gardens to creating a new wet woodland area in the lower fields.
