Beat the January blues with unmissable evenings of comedy at The Studio, Bradford. We’ve got two stars of Britain’s Got Talent, a co-host of a popular podcast and a rising star coming to us this season.

Tony Carroll has been a standout in the comedy scene since 2010, now he comes to The Studio, Bradford on Saturday 24 January with his new stand-up show Think I’m Ars*d?

Delivering performances that are both likeable and unpredictably brilliant, his natural charm and quick wit make him a hit with audiences. Beyond the stage, Tony co-hosts the hugely successful Hot Water’s Green Room Podcast, where his humour and insights continue to captivate listeners. Age guidance: 16+

Daliso Chaponda returns to The Studio, Bradford on Saturday 7 February. Recently, the news has been so absurd, chaotic and overwhelming that it more or less mocks itself. Where do we go from here? Topical Storm is Daliso’s response. A show not about the news but about news itself.

Journalists, bloggers, fake news, satirical news: have we lost the thread of it all? Is the reporting of news endlessly polarising us as a society rather than educating us? Would we be better off going right back to the first ever news bulletin – the original caveman drawing on a wall – and starting from scratch? Daliso does just that in this explosive new stand-up show.

Daliso has been writing jokes about the news for over a decade – on Have I Got News For You, Radio 4’s News Quiz, Australia’s Good News Week and many more. Age guidance: 14+

Join BAFTA-Winning comedian, star of Britain’s Got Talent, Live at the Apollo and Coronation Street, Jack Carroll at The Studio Bradford on Friday 13 February with his new show The Fall Guy.

Jack expertly examines subjects that can make us feel awkward, within the safe confines of his northern charm. Expect jokes about the broken promises of modern life, internet rabbit holes, and his disability, obviously – that being said, buy a ticket to prove you don’t hate people with cerebral palsy. Age guidance: 14+

After a hugely successful and critically acclaimed Edinburgh Fringe Festival, Saaniya Abbas comes to The Studio, Bradford for the first time on Thursday 19 February, taking audiences on her most personal and side-splitting journey yet with her first UK tour, Hellarious.

With sharp insights and her signature feline mischief, Saaniya dives into the cultural taboos of divorce, the absurdity of internet fame, and her playful take on the concept of hell itself. Tracing her evolution from a sheltered upbringing in a Muslim family to carving out her own path, Hellarious is a bold celebration of resilience, defiance, and self-discovery. Age guidance: 16+

Mark Watson returns to The Studio, Bradford on Saturday 21 February, after seasons at the Adelaide, Melbourne, Sydney and Edinburgh Comedy Festivals.

A recent encounter with a stranger caused Mark to spend some time pondering the uncertain future facing humanity. He explores this in his new show Before It Overtakes Us - along with equally pressing matters like the worst word he has ever said in public, the current state of the UK sausage industry, and much more. Age guidance: 14+

Star of Mock The Week and Live at the Apollo, Angela Barnes brings her brand new stand-up show Angst to The Studio, Bradford on Thursday 26 February.

Angela is a worrier. Whatever it is, she’ll worry about it. But don’t let that worry you – she’ll worry enough for the both of you. This hilarious show has some stories of success and sound logic, but mostly features stories of unmitigated failure, a distinct lack of wisdom, a little bit of German and loads of jokes. Age guidance: 14+
