Launch day will include a Makers Market, Thornton Lights switch on, live music, and free mulled wine or hot chocolate for participants.

This year Thornton Winter Windows is part of BDisLit, where the village windows are lit up using the theme set by artist Rosie McAndrew. This community event sees Thornton residents, businesses and organisations getting together to create a very special festival just for you. Thank you to everyone for taking part! Seek and find the addresses listed on the map to find festive displays and undiscovered parts of the village you never knew existed. You can follow the map in any order. Rosie has set the theme to be ‘Apricity - the warmth of a beam of sunlight in Winter.'  Creating a contrast of warmth and cold.
