There’s lots of fun for the whole family at East Riddlesden Hall, Keighley this Summer. From the 24 July to 30 August families can take part in the National Trust’s Summer of Play.

There are lots of events running over the summer holidays, with storytelling on Tuesdays, dancing on Wednesdays and indoor crafting available every day.

Welcome Manager, Hester Pode said “We can’t wait for families to come and enjoy their summer holidays at East Riddlesden Hall. With great spots for picnicking, lawn games, making mud pies, feeding the ducks or running and playing open fields there’s lots for everyone to enjoy”.

Hester continues “We have been busy updating our Discovery Garden and it now has scales, an outdoor library and even more wheelbarrows. The new puppet theatre will be a great addition, with hand puppets made by the fantastic Volunteers here. It will be wonderful to see families making great memories”.

There is no extra charge for Summer of Play events, normal admission applies. Free entry for National Trust members and under 5s.

The hall, gardens, tearoom, and shop will be open 10am – 4pm, Saturday – Wednesday, last entry at 15:30. There is no charge to visit the lower fields, the carpark closes at 16:30 every day.

Every visit to East Riddlesden Hall helps us look after this special place, from taking care of our collections to looking after nature in the gardens and creating a wet woodland in the lower fields.
