Writer and historian Colin Grant has travelled the country, listening to stories of migration – foundational tales of arriving in a new land, along with rarely spoken stories of love and loss. The result is What We Leave We Carry, a collection of oral history sharing the secrets of becoming British, of migrant songs and objects. Grant will be joined on stage by WritersMosaic writers Suzanne Harrington, Vayu Naidu, and Chitra Ramaswamy to transport you between the UK and Ireland, South Asia and the Caribbean with the stories they’ve collected.
