About
Artist Sarah Lyte (Seven Hands) leads this autumnal wet felting workshop at South Square Centre, guiding participants in creating a textured felted landscape inspired by the Thornton countryside while exploring colour blending, layering techniques and wool fibres. Sarah is a Yorkshire-based mixed media fibre artist who combines wet felting, needle felting and recycled materials to create vibrant landscapes inspired by the region's natural environment.
Location and access: The workshop will take place in the upstairs Community Room at South Square Centre, Thornton Road, BD13 3LD. A chairlift provides access to the Community Room, and seating will be available for anyone who prefers to remain seated during the session. South Square Centre is easily accessible by public transport, and free on-street parking is available nearby.
