Artist Anji Timlin presents an immersive exhibition of her most ambitious and dramatic large-scale paintings of the River Wharfe in the Western Gallery at Ilkley Manor House. Expressive and atmospheric, the exhibition forms part of Wharfespeed, a joyful, multi-strand celebration of the river and the communities connected to it.

During the exhibition, there are also plans to screen ‘The Kingdom Beneath the Current’, a film by underwater filmmaker Mark Barrows of ‘Beneath British Waters’, revealing the remarkable life beneath the surface of the River Wharfe.
