On successive weekends, Vintage Trains will operate using a carefully chosen selection from our collection of historic coaches, many of which date back to Victorian times and rarely see public use. These beautifully restored carriages form part of the Railway’s museum collection and include vehicles cared for by the Lancashire & Yorkshire Railway Trust (L&YRT) and the Vintage Carriages Trust (VCT).

All services will be steam hauled, filling the Worth Valley with the unmistakable sights, sounds and smells of a working steam railway. To complete the atmosphere, traditional brass bands will perform at selected stations, adding a cheerful, nostalgic soundtrack to your day out.
