About
Young performers are invited to take the stage at Darley Street Kitchen for a friendly, supportive evening of live talent in the heart of Bradford. Open to anyone under 18, it’s a chance to sing, rap, dance, play music, share poetry or showcase any performance skill in front of an encouraging crowd. Hosted by Rosie Doonan (Birdy / Peter Gabriel / Shipley Kidz Choir), the event takes place on the Darley Street Kitchen stage inside Darley Street Market. A piano and acoustic guitar will be available, and performers are welcome to bring their own instruments (just no drums). Backing tracks can be played from phones, iPads or links. Performance slots run on a first‑come basis, with the number of songs depending on turnout. To help secure a slot, email with your interest or any questions. Darley Street Kitchen will be fully open with a wide choice of food and drink, making it a great evening out for families and friends. Under‑16s must be accompanied by a parent or guardian, and due to space and timing, full bands with drums and amps can’t be accommodated at this event.
