Folk musicians performing on stage.

About

A leading figure in English folk, Damien Barber brings a powerful, authentic vocal style shaped by his East Anglian roots and early influences such as Walter Pardon and Peter Bellamy. With over three decades of performing, from BBC Radio 2’s Young Tradition Award to fronting the acclaimed Demon Barbers and Breaking Tradition, Damien delivers traditional song with real depth, character and connection.

Support: Pen and Stu Pen and Stu perform original contemporary folk driven by big whistles, tenor guitars and story‑rich songs inspired by history, folklore and larger‑than‑life characters. Their warm, engaging style makes them the perfect complement to the evening.
