A black and white photograph of a woman in Victorian dress

About

Discover more about local women who fought for the vote and help to uncover their hidden histories.

This event will include a small exhibition and information about a community project aimed at rediscovering the forgotten women's suffrage campaigners in Saltaire and Shipley. Visitors to this event can try on suffrage hats and sashes, chat to HerVote100 volunteers and take part in some craft activities. This event will also promote the campaign for a plaque to be erected to commemorate the Great Shipley Glen Rally in 1908
