This summer, The Broadway is bringing all the excitement of the fairground indoors with six weeks of FREE family fun!

Every day between 20th July to 31st August, we welcome you to step into our colourful Summer Fun Fair and discover a fun event space packed with interactive games, hands-on activities and plenty of opportunities to make magical family memories. Plus enjoy a new themed workshop every Thursday!

The Summer Fun Fair will be open throughout the holidays, giving families a colourful place to play, explore and enjoy while visiting the centre.

Weekly Workshops

Join us every week for a FREE themed workshop every Thursday between 11am-5pm, where children can get creative, learn new skills and take home their own special creations.

Thursday 23rd July – Circus Skills Academy

Meet the Ringmasters

Kick-start the summer by learning exciting circus skills including plate spinning and juggling. Young performers will even receive their very own Junior Performer Certificate.

Thursday 30th July – Clown College

Meet the Clowns

Prepare for plenty of laughs with silly challenges, funny walk competitions and clown training before creating your own colourful clown bow tie or giant carnival badge to take home. Every participant will graduate with an Official Clown College Diploma.

Thursday 6th August – The Ringmaster’s Workshop

Get creative by decorating carnival flags and designing your own strongman medal to take home as a keepsake.

Thursday 13th August – The Magician’s Workshop

Meet The Great Magnifico

Discover the secrets behind simple magic tricks before decorating your very own magician’s wand. Every junior magician will receive a certificate to celebrate their new magical skills.

Thursday 20th August – Carnival Costume Studio

Meet Madame Magnifique

Create your own carnival-inspired costume accessories, including a ringmaster hat, circus mask or colourful carnival crown, ready for the final week’s celebrations.

Thursday 27th August – Mini Carnival Parade

Finish the summer in style by joining our Mini Carnival Parade through the event space, wearing your fantastic handmade creations from previous workshops.
