About

Enjoy this family-friendly event celebrating culture, creativity, and community at The Beacon.

Join us for a colourful and creative day at the Bradford South Asian Festival with our Rangoli and Flower Garland Workshops, specially designed for young children and families.

Explore the traditional art of Rangoli using coloured powders, petals, and stencils to make beautiful designs. Children will also have the opportunity to create their own flower garlands, learning how to string fresh flowers into stunning, wearable pieces.

These workshops are drop-in and suitable for all ages. Friendly facilitators will guide you through each activity, making it easy and fun for children and parents alike. Whether you stay for a short time or the full session, you’ll leave with something special to take home.

No experience is necessary and all materials are provided.
