About
Beginning at Bracken Hall Countryside Centre, (and we recommend exploring the centre too!) the walk will start by looking at the Heygate Stone, and some general discussion about rock art, followed by a walk into the landscape to see some in situ as well as looking at other unrelated archaeological features on the way.
Lasting 2-2/12 hours, the route will take participants along Shipley Glen and up onto Baildon Moor and back again. Flat walk for the first part and then a fairly steep uphill walk onto Baildon Moor.
Baildon Moor is part of the newly announced Bradford Pennine Gateway National Nature Reserve, and this walk promises to be an fascinating exploration of just some of its intriguing features.
