About

This fun and playful workshop introduces you to the ‘devils work’ a traditional ceramic technique dating back to the Ming Dynasty.

Using scalpels and tools to cut and pierce designs into leather soft clay you will learn the patience and delicate balance of designing positive and negative spaces. Once finished carving you will use underglazes to add colour and surface decoration to produce a stunning price of art that can be enjoyed for years to come.

Your finished design will be kiln fired and glazed for a professional look.

Suitable for all experience levels. Young teens and older.
