About

Join Baildon Walkers are Welcome and our partners from the Bradford HF Group for the Millennium Way Circular No.13 – Addingham Circular, a more challenging walk covering 9.5 miles (15.3 km). We will set off from Addingham Memorial Hall car park at 10.30am, with the walk expected to finish around 4pm.

The route climbs from the village, taking us past allotments, across a stream via stepping stones, and on towards Addingham Moorside. Along the way we will ford a stream, cross the bypass twice, and pass through numerous fields and narrow paths, many with livestock. The walk includes over 30 stiles, most of which are stone step and pinch stiles, some quite tricky. Expect two climbs totalling around 1000 feet of ascent, with some boggy and muddy sections which can be slippery when wet.

This walk is graded moderate and is best suited to those with some walking experience. Please wear wear clothing appropriate to the weather, sturdy boots with good grip, and bring a packed lunch and plenty to drink. There are no toilet facilities on the route, but Addingham offers pubs, cafés, a sandwich shop and a Co-op for those needing refreshments afterwards.

We are sorry but the dogs cannot be accepted on our guided walks.

No prebooking is required. The walk is free, however, it is a condition
of the Midweek Wayfarer Group’s Public Liability Insurance Policy that all walkers with the group are club Members. One day membership costs £1.
