A poster for the show featuring a picture of a rural river

About

Flushed will bring our signature blend of original songs and social commentary to explore the politics of public plumbing.

Kate, Richard, and Amy couldn’t be more different. From a tie-dye wearing hippy, to an ex-navy canoeist, they span the political spectrum. But one thing they all agree on; raw sewage probably shouldn’t be destroying our natural beauty spots.

So, what happens when this ragtag gang join together to try and save a river they love?

From the historic Great Stink in 1858, to ‘Cawkshire Water’ protestors kicking up a stink in 2027, Flushed pulls no punches about an industry that sees money and effluent racing down the drain.

Every performance in 2027 has integrated audio description, which means that we have worked hard to make the play enjoyable and interesting to listen to for all audiences without the need for headsets.
