About

Bradford's Trapezium Gallery is pleased to present Mayday!, its final exhibition at its base on Kirkgate in Bradford city centre.  It will showcase the artwork of some of the people who run the gallery on a day-to-day basis - Steve Bishop, Caro Blount-Shah, Pauline Cooke, Ann Driver, Barry Greenwood, Lauren Kelly, Cath Muldowney, Michele Russell, Hawabibi Sidat, Ian Tothill, Patrick Whitehead and Ken Woods. There will be a mix of painting, illustration, print-making, textiles and documentary photography on a range of themes.

Ken says: "We have estimated that each exhibition takes more than 150 hours of preparation and invigilation.  This is our way of thanking the people who have given up their time to make Trapezium a successful gallery.  We hope visitors will come and say goodbye but also help us celebrate what we have achieved.  Please continue to follow us on Instagram: @trapeziumarts or look out for our emails for news of any future developments."

There will be refreshments and a chance to meet the artists at the launch event on Saturday 2nd May 12pm - 3pm.
