About

presented by Ilkley Manor House and photoILKLEY — a unique exhibition showcasing the work created by participants in our spring photography workshops.

Throughout the spring, participants explored practical photography skills and playful experimentation in a series of workshops designed to build confidence behind the camera, develop a creative eye, and connect with others through shared making. From shooting techniques and working with light to sequencing images and thinking about how photographs can tell stories, these workshops provided a friendly, supportive space to learn, ask questions, and try new approaches.

This exhibition celebrates the culmination of that creative journey — a chance for participants to share their newly created photographs with friends, family, and the wider community, and to celebrate what they’ve made together.

Come and discover the stories told through the lens of our local photographers, from complete beginners to enthusiastic learners, all united by their passion for visual storytelling.
