About

15 bands playing a variety of musical styles in 15 community centres – from Keighley to Queensbury, Ilkley to Windhill!

Venues include The Clarke Foley Community Hub in Ilkley, where Horns of Plenty will entertain you with a lively blend of global street music and a multitude of brass, saxes, clarinets and percussion. The Stroud Red Band will raise the roof of Darley Street Market in Bradford with a selection of African, Latin, protest and the odd jazz or pop tune. While at the Keith Thompson Centre in Keighley, Blast Furness will delight audiences with their joyous, high octane street music from New Orleans and Brazil to eastern Europe and Africa and more.

Organised by Bradford’s very own street band – The Peace Artistes, “HONK! Bradford” brings together 15 street bands from the UK, Spain, Germany, France, and the United States, performing in parks, high streets, community centres, and city spaces. The festival celebrates cultural diversity and musical fusion, with genres ranging from bhangra to Balkan, jazz to hip hop.
