DJA are the professional ensemble made up of past members of the Doncaster Youth Jazz Orchestra. Founded over 50 years ago by John Ellis MBE, individual and collective success with credits including Quincy Jones, Gil Evans, the BBC Big Band, Jools Holland, Jamiroquai and The Royal Philharmonic, DJA have members performing at the highest level globally. All proceeds from DJA gigs go into local and national initiatives to help children into music. The musicians take no fee, so please support this excellent initiative.
