I feel the need: the need for a Top Gun double bill to celebrate the 40th anniversary of Tom Cruise’s 80s favourite. 

Two rising but reckless Naval officers—Pete “Maverick” Mitchell and Nick “Goose” Bradshaw—are recruited for Top Gun; an elite US Flying school for advanced fighter pilots.

There, the macho classmates engage in a dangerous competition to outdo their rivals, and Maverick begins a relationship with a civilian instructor.
