A black and white photograph of Ilkley Manor House

About

Step inside Ilkley Manor House to uncover the story of the Old Castle cottages and Robinson family through guided tours, historic photographs and artefacts, with creative family activities also taking place on Saturday 12 September.

Guided tours will take place on Saturday 12 September at 11am and Sunday 20 September at 2pm, exploring how Ilkley Manor House was once divided into cottages and the lives of the Robinson family who lived there. A special display of historic photographs and artefacts will also be on show.

On Saturday 12 September from 2:00–3:30pm, children and families can get hands-on with the history of the Old Castle. Activities include making a model or picture of the building, discovering what it looked like as cottages and dressing up as Victorians.
