Phone Case 14:00 - 16:00
This hands-on workshop offers participants the opportunity to design and create a bespoke leather mobile phone holder, combining practical design with traditional craft techniques.
Participants will select from a range of quality leathers in various colours and finishes to create a holder tailored to their personal style. Guided step by step, learners will measure and cut their leather to size, punch and assemble components, and apply hand-stitching and finishing techniques to produce a durable and refined accessory. The design will be carefully constructed to securely hold a mobile phone while maintaining a clean, contemporary aesthetic.
There will also be the option to personalise the finished piece by embossing initials into the leather, adding a distinctive and professional touch.
By the end of the workshop, each participant will leave with a handcrafted leather phone holder designed for everyday use and made to develop character and patina over time. This workshop is ideal for beginners as well as those wishing to build confidence and foundational skills in leathercraft.
Please note the these workshops will take place in The Heritage Craft Room, at Bradford Industrial Museum.
