Notebook Cover / Journal Cover 14:00 – 16:00
This hands-on workshop offers participants the opportunity to design and create a bespoke leather cover for a mini notebook or journal. Ideal for beginners, the session introduces core leatherworking techniques in a relaxed and supportive setting.
Participants will select from a range of quality leather colours and finishes to craft a cover tailored to their personal style. Guided step by step, learners will measure, cut, and assemble their journal cover, gaining experience in essential processes such as edge finishing, punching, and hand stitching. There will also be the option to emboss initials into the leather, creating a personalised and professional finish.
All tools and materials are provided, and each participant will leave with a beautifully handcrafted leather notebook cover that is both practical and durable. Designed to age gracefully and develop character over time, the finished piece makes a thoughtful gift or a stylish everyday accessory.
This workshop is suitable for beginners as well as those wishing to build confidence and develop foundational leatherworking skills in a small, friendly learning environment.
