About
Helina is an artist who explores the intersection of faith, nature, mental wellbeing and
personal reflection. Working primarily in an impressionistic style with oils, she captures light, movement, and softness to evoke deep emotional resonance.
Guided by her Islamic faith, every brushstroke is an act of devotion, aiming to honor the
harmony between the natural world and the spiritual unseen.
Helena will be presenting two bodies of work:
“Flowers of Faith” and “Sky at Salah” — both are offerings of peace, designed to inspire stillness, nourish the soul, and offer a space of quiet remembrance in a busy world.
“Sky at Salah” is an exploration of light, time, and colour.
Through an impressionistic lens, Helina captures the ever-changing skies from Bradford at
each of the five daily prayers — Fajr, Dhuhr, Asr, Maghrib, and Isha.
“Flowers of Faith” celebrates the spiritual beauty of nature. Each flower painted reflects an
Islamic virtue, inviting reflection, hope, and remembrance.
