Choir singing Handel's Messiah.

About

Bradford Cathedral presents GF Handel's Messiah. This famous large-scale Baroque work includes the iconic 'Hallelujah' chorus.

Join us in the lead up to Easter with an awe-inspiring performance of Britain’s best-loved and most famous choral work, Handel’s Messiah.

This large scale work is divided into three parts: the prophecies and birth of the Messiah, Christ's suffering and ressurection, and the Day of Judgement. While often associated with Christmas, the ontario's narrative covers the Christian Lent and Easter stories and includes the iconic 'Hallelujah' chorus, all accompanied by William Campbell on the Cathedral Organ, and conducted by Geoffrey Woollatt.
