Good Things is a poignant but ultimately hopeful comedy about friendship, life and love. 

Susan Love has recently been made redundant and separated from her husband, and now faces her dreaded 50th birthday alone. Volunteering in a charity shop and juggling the demands of her family, Susan tackles the challenges of caring for a confused and elderly father, dealing with her turbulent teenage daughter, and trying to avoid her obnoxious ex and his new young and glamorous fiancé.

Over the course of a year, we watch how her life changes against the backdrop of the shop’s colourful cast of characters. Could another chance of love be just around the corner?
