About
Following a successful screening earlier this year, Bradford-made feature film tHE iNVISIBLES returns to Darley Street Market this September, launching a new programme of monthly film screenings celebrating Bradford’s vibrant independent film scene.
Written and directed by Bradford filmmaker Sean Grundy, this unconventional musical romcom is inspired by a true story and tells the bizarre tale of a secret affair hidden within the walls of a house during a strange new pandemic. Packed with original music, humour and a DIY spirit, the film has been praised as “totally original”, “weird but hilarious” and “unlike anything else”.
Each screening will include an informal post-film discussion with Sean and collaborators, offering insight into their no-budget filmmaking approach, known as “rOUGH aS oWT cINEMA”. Aspiring filmmakers will also be invited to create and share their own films as part of the growing community initiative.
Whether you're a film student, filmmaker or simply a fan of independent cinema, join fellow creatives and film lovers for an evening of film, conversation and inspiration.
Come watch the film. Meet fellow creatives. Help build Bradford’s next film movement.
