About

Come and explore traditional crafts with experienced artists! Join us for family‑friendly workshops creating Clay Tiles and Paisley Prints for our Eid Celebrations in the Market, delivered by local artist Mussarat Rahman.

Memory Tiles for Kids Make your own clay tile and explore mark‑making using a variety of found objects. Add impressions, patterns or even write your name. You can also choose to make a small clay pot, flower or another object of your choice. Children must be accompanied by an adult.

Paisley Pattern Woodblocks Try traditional block printing using a selection of carved woodblocks. The Paisley motif originates from India and Pakistan and remains a hugely popular design in textiles, block printing and relief work. Create your own colourful paisley print and celebrate the roots of South Asian culture. Suitable for adults, with printed patterns available for children to enjoy.
