A picture of LUUMS String Ensemble performing in a church

About

Born in Bradford in 1862, Frederick Delius grew to become an internationally famous composer, known for his distinctive style and love of the natural world.
Join LUUMS String Orchestra, Leeds University’s acclaimed string ensemble, for a concert in honour of this enigmatic composer in his home city of Bradford. In the majestic setting of Bradford Cathedral, we will perform some of Delius' most loved works, including On Hearing the First Cuckoo in Spring, alongside music which was inspired by his unique compositions.
