About
A stirring World War I drama about hope, music and community coming together in impossible times.
Set in 1916 in the fictional Yorkshire mill town of Ramsden, The Choral follows a local choral society whose members have been drafted to fight in World War I. With their numbers dwindling, the group must recruit new voices and find a passionate, if controversial, choir master in Dr. Henry Guthrie (played by Ralph Fiennes) to keep their music alive. As the looming threat of war hangs over the community, they discover that singing together might be the strongest way to face fear, loss and uncertainty.
