About
A tense pre-war spy drama with history on its shoulder and real stars at its centre.
Set in summer 1939, just days before the outbreak of World War II, Six Minutes to Midnight tells the story of a British undercover agent who takes a job as a teacher at a finishing school for daughters of influential Nazi families in England. What begins as an ordinary assignment quickly deepens into mystery, espionage and danger as hidden agendas emerge against the backdrop of a world on the brink of war.
When the previous undercover English teacher mysteriously disappears, Captain Thomas Miller arrives to take his place at Augusta-Victoria College, a seaside finishing school attended by girls sent from Nazi Germany to learn language and culture. But with tensions rising across Europe, Miller must uncover the truth behind his predecessor’s fate and expose a network of secrets before war breaks out. Along the way he finds unlikely allies, deep suspicions and the weight of an impending global conflict.
